Accessibility statement for the Estuary Lodge

At The Estuary we endeavor to provide a personal, caring and welcoming service to all guests.  The management and staff are sensitive to the needs of our guests and will try to meet any special needs or overcome barriers effectively and respectfully.

The Estuary Lodge is located within the village of Talsarnau with easy access from the main highway onto the large tarmac car park. Ample parking is available for all guests with a designated space outside the reception office for vehicles of disabled customers.

All customer areas are located on the ground floor with access to each guest room being individual and direct from the exterior. Minimum door width is 82cm with a negligible step, which is approximately 3cm. Each room has a direct dial telephone for guests use, bedside control for room lights and a refrigerator. The layout of bathrooms requires guests to have a certain amount of mobility with most being equipped with baths. All TV's / DVD's are remote control, Kettles are cordless.

The external doorway into the main building, which houses reception and restaurant, affords ample width through double opening doors. Access into the restaurant is through a further doorway of an 82cm width. The restaurant is a large, well light area with ample space for all guests.

All printed materials can be made available in large print on request. Guests with service dogs are welcomed.
